NAS-IT Concludes 4th AGM: Deepen Chapagain Elected President

The Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) concluded its 4th Annual General Meeting, electing Deepen Chapagain as President alongside a new 9-member executive board. Held in a scaled-back format out of respect for Bhotekoshi flood victims, NAS-IT reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Nepal’s tech sector, strengthening industry policies, and expanding international market access.
NAS-IT Concludes 4th AGM
The Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) has concluded its fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM was held in a limited format due to the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River. The meeting began with a one-minute silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the disaster. NAS-IT expressed condolences to the bereaved families and solidarity with the affected communities.
Due to the disaster, NAS-IT cancelled its other planned activities and held only the formal and necessary proceedings of the AGM. Nine Board members were elected for the next three-year term.
The newly elected Board for 2026-29 comprises

Kailash Raj Bijayananda, Chief Operating Officer of Leapfrog Technology
Narayan Koirala, Managing Director of Eminence Ways
Pallav Parajulee, CEO of Quickfox Consulting
Prarthana Saakha, Co-founder of BIC Technology
Sagar KC, CEO of Jasper IT
Shreya Shrestha, General Manager of Alaya Nepal
Subrat Gyawali, Co-founder & CTO of Ripplebytes Solutions
For the 2026-2027 term, Deepen Chapagain has been elected President. Bibhushan Bista has been elected Vice-President, Shreya Shrestha as General Secretary, and Sagar KC as Treasurer. The other five Board members will serve on the Executive Committee.
The new leadership said it will continue NAS-IT’s work to develop and expand Nepal’s technology industry.
The new Board will work closely with member companies, the government, universities and other educational institutions, development partners, and international organizations. It will also focus on strengthening Nepal’s technology industry and helping Nepali technology companies reach international markets.
NAS-IT is a non-profit organization representing Nepal’s software and IT services companies. It works on policy, industry development, talent development, international market access, and collaboration to strengthen Nepal’s technology sector. The association also aims to help establish Nepal as a trusted global technology hub.
