Nepal’s NASA Foundation, a prominent player in Nepal’s efforts toward safer transportation, smart cities, and sustainable mobility, recently concluded its annual general meeting in Kathmandu.

The gathering was graced by the presence of Yogesh Bhattarai, coordinator of the National Alliance for Safe and Sustainable Mobility Nepal, and Gonzalo Alcaraz, Deputy Director General of the International Road Federation (IRF) Geneva.

The meeting resulted in the selection of the Foundation’s new board of directors for the forthcoming term.

Established in 2015 by the Nepal Automobiles Association in collaboration with Hollywood actress and Global Road Safety Ambassador Michelle Yeoh, the NASA Foundation has been instrumental in advocating for safer roads, sustainable transportation, and social development initiatives under its theme ‘Automobile and Society.’

The newly constituted board reflects the Foundation’s dedication to Nepal’s sustainable road infrastructure and safe transportation. Leading the board is Krishna Singh Basnet as the coordinator, Madhusudan Sigdel as the treasurer, and Subas Bhattarai as the executive secretary.
