NAST Invites Applications For 2081/2082 Science and Technology Awards in Nepal

The Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) has announced a call for applications for various awards in the field of science and technology.

NAST Invites Applications For 2081

These awards will be distributed during the fiscal year 2081/2082 to recognize outstanding contributions to scientific innovation, research, and education.

This year, NAST will be presenting several prestigious awards, including the Chancellor National Innovation Award, Nature Conservation Award, Science and Technology Wisdom Award, Science Award, Technology Award, Young Scientist and Technologist Award, Women in Science and Technology Award, Science and Technology Promotion Award, Science and Technology Journalism Award, Science Teacher Award, Best Student Award, and the Non-Resident Nepali Science and Technology Award.

In addition, NAST will also be awarding specific research-based honors such as the Dayananda Bajracharya Research Award, Phanindra Prasad Neupane Research Award, Mohan Dhwaj Basnet Award (for institutions), Bhuvaneshwar Technology Award, Jit Bahadur Nakarmi Metallurgy Award, and the Hama Balakrishna Shrestha Engineering Award for civil/structural engineering.

The deadline for submitting applications is Kartik 4, 2081 (October 20, 2024). Applicants can download the necessary forms from NAST’s official website at www.nast.gov.np. Applications that are not submitted according to the required procedures or received after the deadline will not be considered for further processing, as per NAST’s guidelines.

This initiative by NAST highlights the organization’s commitment to promoting and honoring innovation and excellence in science and technology across Nepal.
