The National Summit on Artificial Intelligence, hosted by the Digital Media Foundation and co-hosted by Open Internet Nepal and the Internet Society Nepal Chapter, will take place at Hotel Himalaya in Kupondole, Lalitpur.
This significant one-day event will bring together over 200 participants, including sectoral and technical experts, policymakers, political representatives, public and private service providers, researchers, and members of the general public.
The summit will feature three main sessions focusing on key areas of AI impact:

AI Integration in Nepal’s Public Service: Potential and Pitfalls

Governing AI and Emerging Techs: Nepal’s Position and Pathways
These sessions will include panel discussions and remarks from special speakers, addressing both opportunities and challenges.
Summit Objectives:

The National Summit aims to harness the potential of AI to enhance media, improve public service delivery, and guide governance practices, ensuring Nepal stays at the forefront of technological advancement and ethical implementation.
