Ncell NSL 2025 Friendly Football Tournament Celebrates Season Kickoff

Ncell on Monday organized a friendly football match at Lainchaur Ground in Kathmandu to celebrate the much-anticipated Ncell Nepal Super League (NSL), which kicks off this Saturday, March 29.

The friendly match featured three teams, with the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) team emerging victorious.
The seven-a-side football match began with the first game between the Ncell Team and a team of artists and models led by former national footballer and veteran player Anil Gurung. The Ncell Team secured a 2–1 victory over Anil Gurung’s team.
The final match of the friendly tournament, organized in anticipation of Ncell NSL, was played between the NSJF Team and the Ncell Team, where NSJF defeated Ncell 2–0.
Ncell is the title sponsor of NSL Season 3 and takes pride in its association with Nepal’s biggest franchise football tournament, running from March 29 to April 26, 2025. This season, seven teams—Lalitpur City FC, Kathmandu Rangers FC, Pokhara Thunders FC, Butwal Lumbini FC, Dhangadhi FC, Jhapa FC, and Chitwan FC—will compete for the championship title.
