Ncell has signed the ‘Scholarship and Excellence Award’ program with the Pulchowk Campus for the next five years. The scholarship that was supposed to end this year has been extended with an agreement for 5 more years.
According to the agreement, two additional faculties will also be involved in this initiative. Previously, the students of Electronic, Electronics, Computer Engineering were apart of the scholarship provided by Ncell, but this year Civil and Mechanical faculties have been added. The program aims towards contributing to the development of capable youth manpower by encouraging technical education in Nepal where many aspiring youths are compelled to stop their peruse of education due to lack of funding.
According to the consent, Ncell will provide scholarship and excellence award with a net worth of Rs. 1 Crore 30 lakh to the excellent student studying in Electronic, Electronics, Computers, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Pulchowk Campus from 2076 B.S. to 2080 B.S.
Kanisk Gyan Vikrama, financial head of Ncell and Prof. Ram Chandra Sapkota Dean of the Campus signed the agreement to extend the ‘Scholarship and Excellence Award’.
