Ncell Foundation has announced an innovative partnership that combines the excitement of cricket with a noble cause. For every boundary hit during the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) Powered by Ncell matches, the Ncell Foundation will provide four educational kits to students from community schools in rural and remote areas of Nepal.

This initiative aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by promoting education and fostering opportunities for their bright future. Each educational kit will include essential learning materials, helping to bridge the resource gap and inspire students to pursue their academic aspirations.

Education is a cornerstone for sustainable development, and this program reflects our commitment to nurturing the future generation,” Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell.
This NPL, a premier cricket tournament in the country, is the perfect platform to amplify this cause. With cricket being a sport that resonates deeply with communities across Nepal, this partnership not only elevates the game but also brings hope and resources to those who need it most.
The distribution of these educational kits will be carried out in coordination with Cricket Association Nepal (CAN), local authorities, and stakeholders, ensuring they reach the intended beneficiaries in remote regions.
CAN has reached a collaboration agreement with Ncell for the NPL. Under this partnership, Ncell is the ‘Powered By’ partner with the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League, contributing to helping in building up Nepal’s home-grown cricket talents.
This collaboration aligns with Ncell’s theme ‘Here for You’ and commitment to supporting the development of cricket and sports in Nepal. Cricket is one of the most popular sporting activities of the sub-continent.
