Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA), in collaboration with the Nepal Geological Society (NGS), is set to host the NEA Weekly Talk Program on the topic, “The Himalayan Hazard: Post-Event Assessment of Thame’s GLOF” (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood).

The event will feature an insightful session by Er: Dr. Keshab Sharma, a renowned geotechnical engineer associated with BGC Engineering Inc., Canada.
Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and a BE in Civil Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. With over 20 international conference papers and his role as a prominent columnist for Nepal’s leading national dailies, Dr. Sharma brings unparalleled expertise to the discussion.
