Neco Insurance Collaborates with Aama Suraksha Nepal to Conduct Maternal Health Camp in Kathmandu

Neco Insurance Limited, in collaboration with Aama Suraksha Nepal, has conducted an integrated maternal health promotion camp at the Urban Health Promotion Center located in Ward No. 19 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Organized under Neco Insurance’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the event provided specialized consultations, awareness, and health services to approximately 50 participants, including 15 pregnant women, their family members, and female community health volunteers.

• Clinical and Mental Health Session: Conducted by Dr. Sushma Dhakal, covering maternal mental health, pregnancy nutrition, and early identification of high-risk pregnancy warning signs.
• Individual Medical Evaluations: Gynecologists provided individual consultations and performed fetal heart rate monitoring for participating pregnant women.
• Distribution of Supplies: Participants received maternity kits containing essential pregnancy supplies along with maternal identification badges.
• Family Involvement Focus: The sessions emphasized the role of husbands and family members in providing emotional, practical, and logistical support during pregnancy.
