The Nepal government has decided on the slogan of the 10th National Science Day. The theme of this year’s Science Day is ‘Expansion of Investment in Science and Technology: The Basis of Growth and Prosperity.
The government of Nepal decided to celebrate National Science Day on Asoj 1st every year on 8th Mangsir, 2069, to spread public awareness and use science and technology.
National Science Day is needed to make the subject of science not only a subject of scientists but a subject of common people’s concern.
Science Day has been celebrated by organizing a week-long program to involve the common people in scientific activities, scientific knowledge, and participation.
