Nepal Life Pathshala is expected to revolutionize insurance training in Nepal, making it accessible, flexible, and convenient for agents across the country.

A New Approach to Insurance Training

According to CEO Parajuli, the LMS enables insurance agents to receive training from the comfort of their homes, at their convenience, significantly easing the learning process. This digital platform is expected to play a crucial role in the promotion and expansion of insurance awareness across the country. Initially, the LMS offers audiovisual content based on the basic training curriculum designed by the Nepal Insurance Authority, tailored specifically for insurance agents. Additionally, Nepal Life Insurance plans to develop content for employee skill enhancement, aiming to increase their knowledge and expertise in insurance.

Future Plans for a Comprehensive Learning Platform

Parajuli shared that Nepal Life Pathshala would be expanded in the near future to include detailed information about insurance and its importance, consolidating all essential resources in one place. He emphasized the company’s vision of strengthening the platform as a one-stop learning and service hub for clients, agents, and employees alike.

Dynamic QR Code Integration for Payment Convenience

In addition to the LMS, the company has introduced a Dynamic QR Code for payments, allowing clients to conveniently pay renewal fees and loan repayments under their insurance plans. This initiative is intended to simplify the payment process, ensuring users can manage their policies easily from their own homes.

Innovation and Customer-Centric Approach

Amit Kumar Kayal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Life Insurance, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation. He shared that the company is actively working to streamline insurance services, making them more efficient and accessible for customers. According to Assistant General Manager Umapati Pokharel, the new LMS addresses the limitations of physical training sessions, providing a seamless learning experience for all users.

Training Benefits and Support from Insurance Associations

Training Department Head Rojesh Basnet presented a demonstration on how to navigate and use the LMS effectively. Additionally, Tejmani Sharma Timalsina, Secretary of the Insurance Agent Association of Nepal and the Nepal Life Insurance Committee, praised the LMS for its role in simplifying the training process and enhancing both the knowledge and performance of insurance agents.

Nepal Life Pathshala is set to transform insurance training in Nepal by providing an accessible, user-friendly platform. With its integration of audiovisual training modules, convenient payment systems, and future-focused expansion plans, Nepal Life Insurance aims to reshape the insurance landscape in Nepal, contributing to a more knowledgeable, capable workforce and better-informed customers.
