The much-awaited 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show is officially set to kick off on Bhadra 9 (August 25, 2026) in Kathmandu. This year’s exhibition promises to be a landmark event for the Nepalese automotive sector, featuring a massive lineup of new motorcycle and scooter launches from top international and domestic brands.
Headlining the event is a historic milestone for Nepalese engineering: the debut of the country’s first truly indigenous “Made in Nepal” electric scooter, crafted entirely through domestic labor, skill, and capital.
Key Highlights of the Two-Wheeler Pavilion
A total of 13 brands managed by 11 companies will showcase their latest two-wheelers, bringing well over a dozen brand-new products for attendees to explore and purchase under one roof.
Yatri (Made in Nepalese): The biggest attraction of the auto show will undoubtedly be the Yatri P2 scooter. Sypradi Yatri Pvt. Ltd. will officially commence commercial sales of this locally manufactured electric scooter directly from the “Made in Nepalese” pavilion.
Yamaha (MAW Rise): Yamaha Nepal is preparing to unveil four new models, including the anticipated Yamaha XSR. The brand is curating an interactive and visually striking stall, with official pricing and specifications to be revealed on opening day.
CG Motors (Hero & Vida): CG Motors is rolling out a powerful trio under the Hero brand—the Zoom 160cc scooter, Glamour X 125cc motorcycle, and Xtreme 250cc motorcycle. Additionally, its electric brand Vida will exhibit the VXZ scooter and the K3 Dot mini motorcycle.
Mitchi Auto Nepal: Strengthening its footprint in local electric vehicle assembly, Mitchi Auto is launching five new electric scooter models at the exhibition.
Royal Enfield (Alpha Automotive): Fresh off its launch just days prior, Alpha Automotive will showcase the newest Classic model variants to bike enthusiasts.
Other Major Brands: The event also features active participation from several prominent names, including QJ Motors, Zongshen, Vespa, Aprilia, Ampere, Revolt, and Meta EV.
