Nepal Mediciti Hosts Miss Health & Harmony Challenge For Miss Nepal 2026
13th July 2026, Kathmandu
In a powerful collaboration aimed at driving health awareness and women’s empowerment, Nepal Mediciti Hospital recently hosted the Nepal Mediciti Miss Health & Harmony – Head-to-Head Challenge. Organized in partnership with The Hidden Treasure as part of the ongoing Miss Nepal 2026 pageant, the event provided a premier platform for young Nepalese leaders to advocate for critical public health issues.

The challenge brought together 26 Miss Nepal 2026 contestants, each showcasing their intellect, confidence, and perspectives on urgent healthcare topics.
A Leadership Welcome from Nepal Mediciti
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Amit Tomer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Mediciti. Dr. Tomer extended his best wishes to the contestants, emphasizing the vital role young women play in transforming society. He encouraged the participants to leverage their platforms to inspire communities through leadership, health literacy, and preventive healthcare advocacy.
Following the opening remarks, the contestants were taken on a comprehensive guided tour of Nepal Mediciti Hospital. The tour provided first-hand exposure to the hospital’s advanced healthcare facilities, cutting-edge clinical services, and patient-centered approach, bridging the gap between theoretical health knowledge and modern healthcare delivery.
Shifting the Spotlight to Vital Women’s Health Issues
Moderated gracefully by Ms. Priyanka Rani Joshi (Miss Nepal World 2022), the Head-to-Head Challenge pushed contestants to articulate well-researched viewpoints on critical aspects of women’s well-being. The presentations focused heavily on:
Maternal & Reproductive Health: Improving access and safety for mothers.
Breast Health: Raising awareness for early detection and preventative screenings.
Menstrual Health: Dismantling social stigmas and ensuring proper hygiene management.
Mental Health: Addressing psychological well-being and breaking taboos in Nepal.
Sexual Health: Promoting safe practices and open education.
An esteemed panel of judges evaluated the contestants on their depth of knowledge, public speaking skills, and clarity of vision. The panel included Ms. Kritee Mahato (Director, Nepal Mediciti), Dr. Smrity Maskey (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Nepal Mediciti), and Ms. Ishani Shrestha (Miss Nepal World 2013).
The Road to the Grand Finale: Six Finalists Emerge
The 26 contestants were divided into six competitive groups. After an intense and engaging series of presentations and discussions, one standout speaker from each group was chosen to advance.
These six finalists will now compete directly for the prestigious Nepal Mediciti Miss Health & Harmony sub-title. The ultimate winner of this subtitle will be officially crowned during the highly anticipated Miss Nepal 2026 Grand Finale on August 1, 2026.
“Through initiatives like the Miss Health & Harmony Challenge, Nepal Mediciti reinforces its ongoing commitment to creating meaningful platforms that empower Nepalese women, promote preventative healthcare, and inspire future leaders to drive positive social impact.”
