Reporting The Incident To Nepal Police During Lockdown Using “Nepal Police App”

As the country is under lockdown, Nepal Police has recently launched its application. “Nepal Police” app is available on both android and IOS. The app helps Nepal Police to receive reports at the time of lockdown.

Using the app, anyone can report about many issues during lockdown without worrying about visiting a police station. The app lets you choose to report an incident, emergency or locate nearby police station. Nepal Police via Facebook posted that, anyone can make report the following incidents:

  1. If someone violates the rule of Lockdown.
  2. If there is a black market operating while Lockdown.
  3. If someone is suspected of COVID-19 and is in Self- Quarantine.
  4. If there is some problem due to Lockdown.

Besides these, one can report on other crimes like robbery, domestic violence through apps. Nepal Police have also created the option “COVID-19” were by clicking you can report crimes and attach an image/video/audio of the incident.

At the time of the writing, the app has over 10K downloads. Using this app reporting problem to Nepal Police has become easier and secure.
