The Nepal Premier League (NPL), a T20 franchise cricket tournament organized by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), has officially unveiled its logo. The launch event, held in Kathmandu on Monday, was graced by the presence of Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary, who presented the new logo.

The NPL is set to commence on November 30 and will run until December 6. The tournament promises to be a major event in Nepal’s cricket calendar, featuring six competitive teams. This marks a significant step in the evolution of Nepalese cricket, as CAN takes charge of organizing the league.

Earlier, the rights to host the Nepal T20 League were sold to an Indian company, but CAN has now reclaimed the responsibility of managing and promoting the league. The decision reflects CAN’s commitment to enhancing the profile and reach of cricket in Nepal.

The unveiling of the logo is a key milestone in the build-up to the tournament, generating excitement and anticipation among cricket fans. The NPL aims to showcase local talent, attract international players, and provide a platform for vibrant and competitive cricket.

With the league’s schedule now announced, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to an action-packed season. The NPL is expected to boost the sport’s popularity in Nepal and offer thrilling matches that will captivate audiences both locally and globally.
