Request for TMS Mobile App Launch
SBAN President, Sagar Dhakal, brought up a key concern during the meeting. He highlighted that there are now 6.5 million investors in Nepal’s capital market. However, these investors have faced difficulties due to the absence of a mobile app for TMS. Dhakal explained, “The investors have been waiting for the mobile app for years. It is important to launch it as soon as possible to make the process more efficient.” He urged CEO Chapagai to prioritize the app’s implementation, as it would significantly help investors. According to Dhakal, the app would not only ease processes but also serve the interests of the growing investor base.
Chapagai’s Vision for Improvement
CEO Chapagai, who previously worked in the private sector, acknowledged the issues raised by the delegation. He assured them that he fully understood the challenges faced by the investors. Chapagai expressed his commitment to introducing several reforms that would address these problems. “I have been receiving regular updates on NEPSE’s activities,” said Chapagai. “Shortly, you will see positive changes that will improve the situation for both investors and the stock market.” His assurance of improvement was well-received by the SBAN delegation.
Collaboration for Progress
The meeting also included other key members of SBAN, such as Vice President Nitesh Agarwal, General Secretary Bhaktiram Ghimire, Secretary Vinay Paudel, and Executive Committee members Vishalkumar Agarwal, Zelina Kandel, Jayant Shrivastava, and Priyansu Agarwal. They expressed their support for Chapagai’s leadership and pledged to work closely with NEPSE to resolve the issues investors are facing. The SBAN team made it clear that they would continue to collaborate with NEPSE to ensure the stock market becomes more accessible and efficient for all.
Positive Outlook for Nepal’s Capital Market
This meeting between SBAN and NEPSE marked a crucial step towards resolving the issues investors have been facing. The discussions focused on implementing the TMS mobile app as a solution. The app is expected to significantly improve the experience of investors and make trading more convenient. Both SBAN and NEPSE are committed to working together to address the needs of investors and enhance the functioning of Nepal’s stock market.
Overall, the collaboration between SBAN and NEPSE shows a promising future for the capital market. With the implementation of the TMS mobile app and other planned reforms, Nepal’s stock exchange aims to provide better services to its growing investor base.
