Nepal Telecom was recognized for contributing significantly to national development by paying the highest income tax in the fiscal year 2079/80.
Nepal Telecom Leads in Tax Contribution
The Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Finance, and the Inland Revenue Department awarded Nepal Telecom a certificate of honor.
During a special National Tax Day 2081 ceremony, held last Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel honored Nepal Telecom. The company’s Managing Director, Sangita Pahadi Aryal, received the award and expressed the company’s commitment to consistent revenue contribution as a hallmark of its dedication.
The Inland Revenue Department has a tradition of celebrating National Tax Day on Mangsir 1 every year, recognizing the highest taxpayers. This year, in addition to Nepal Telecom, other individuals and organizations with significant tax contributions were also honored.
