Nepali Banks to Operate Dashain Holiday Counters

Banks are going to operate Dashain counters for the convenience of customers during Dashain holidays. Like every year, banks have opened Dashain counters at various locations for customers on this year’s Dashain.

Siddharth Bank

 Siddharth Bank will open Hattisar and New Road branches within Kathmandu Valley from  Asoj 16th to Asoj  21st (except Asoj 19th). Out of these, the Hattisar branch will open from 11 am to 2 pm, while the New Road branch will open from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Likewise, Kumaripati, Suryavinayak, and Tinkune branches will also be opened on Asoj 16 within the valley. On this day, Kumaripati and Suryavinayak branches will be open from 11 am to 2 pm and the Tinkune branch from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Outside the valley, Birtamod, Damak, Dharan, Narayangadh, Bhairawa, Butwal, Nepalgunj and Ghorahi branches will remain open on Asoj 16. Biratnagar branch will be open on Asoj 16, 17, 18, and 21. While the Itahari branch will open on Asoj 17, the Janakpur branch will remain open on Asoj 16, 17, and 21.

Birgunj Branch on October 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, and 22, Pokhara Branch on Asoj 16, 17, 18, 20, and 21, New Road (Nepalgunj) on Asoj 21, Tikapur Branch on Asoj 18, Dhangadhi Branch on Asoj 15, 17 and 21st and Mahendranagar branch will be open o Asoj 17th and 20th. The bank said that the branches outside the valley will be open from 11 am to 2 pm on the designated days.

Machhapuchhre Bank

Machhapuchhre Bank will be open in Biratnagar, Bardibas, Lahan, Lajimpat, Kalanki, Banepa, Pepsicola, Thimi, Narayangadh, Gwarko, Mahendrapul, Pasryang, Kushma, Butwal and Attaria branches on Asoj 16 (Saptami). Likewise, Itahari, Janakpur, Birganj, Mirchaiya, New Road, Patan, Kamalvinayak, Kaushaltar, Hetauda, ​​Tandi, Lekhnath, Bagar, Damauli, Dulegowda, Nepalgunj and Mahendranagar branches of the bank will remain open on Asoj 17 (Ashtami).

On Asoj 18 (Navami), the bank will open Biratnagar, Birtamod, Damak, Narayanatar, Kalanki, Suryavinayak, Parsa, Lakeside, Baglung, Bhimad, Ambukhaireni, Parasi, and Dhangadhi branches. Bank branches across the country will remain closed on Asoj 19 ( Vijaya Dashami). Janakpur, Rajviraj, Dallu, Pulchok, Damauli, IBID, Mahendranagar, Dadeldhura, Banepa and Hakimchok branches of the bank will be open on Asoj 20th (Ekadashi).

The bank informed that Birtamod, Adarshnagar, Chabahil, Dulegaidna, Ambukhaireni, Walling, Nepalgunj, and Rajpur branches will be open on Asoj 21st (Duwadashi).

Some of these branches will be operational from 9 am to 12 noon, some from 10 am to 1 pm, and some from 11 am to 2 pm.

NIC Asia Bank

NIC Asia Bank has also established a Dashain counter for customers. The Bank stated that it will be open on Asoj 16, 17, 18, 20, and 21(except Dashami) from 11 am to 2 pm.

In Pradesh no. 1, the bank branch will be open in Biratnagar, Birtamod, and Damak.

Birgunj and Janakpur branches will be opened in Madesh Pradesh. In Bagmati Pradesh, Bhaktapur, Kamaladi, Narayangadh, Newroad, Thankot, and Pulchowk branches will be opened.

In Gandaki Pradesh, Mahendrapul and Pokhara branches will be opened. Butwal and Nepalgunj branches will be opened in Lumbini Pradesh. In Karnali Pradesh, only Surkhet branches will be opened. And, finally, in Sudhurpaschim Pradesh, the Dangadhi branch will provide bank services.
