‘Threat Con’ – a Nepali hacker conference, is about to take place in September.
The date of the conference has been announced by Threatnix – a Nepalese cybersecurity company and the conference’s organizing body.
Every year, Threatcon has been organized in Nepal. In order to establish an ecosystem of cybersecurity and to grow and extend the security community.
The conference was attended by experts, hackers, and researchers, as well as representatives from the government, industry, and other stakeholders.
In which the international practice in the field of cybersecurity is addressed, as well as Nepal’s work to be done.
However, due to the Covid outbreak, the Threatcon project was unable to take place last year. But this time the conference will be held virtually on September 10-11.
This time, it will be virtual, according to Sachin Thakuri, founder of Threatnix. Previously, in 2018 and 2019, Threatcon was held in person.
We intend to make the program free for the time being. We will soon begin accepting registrations. Those interested in participating in the program should register online.
Preparations have begun in coordination with the announcement of the program’s format and date. According to him, paperwork for the working papers to be discussed at the conference and the work of finalizing the speakers will also be taken.
