Chaudhary Group (CG) brand entered in the Nepal Smartphone Market.
Country’s most popular Business Tycoon Chaudhary Group has started selling mobile phones in its brand. On Thursday, Chaudhary Group has released its “CG Mobile” with a grand celebration.
Since 1.5 decades, CG Electronics who has been selling the mobile phones of an international brand has brought its own branded mobile phone. CG mobile is available in two series viz EON and Astro.
Company has mentioned that in EON series Smartphone is made available and in Astro series Feature phone is made available. Company has also made available the hybrid phone of smart and feature which is named as PDA model.
The minimum price of CG mobile has started from 1200 rupees and is extended upto 23 thousand and 5 hundred rupees.
The company has started selling two models of smartphone and five models of a feature phone. According to Marketing Executive Ramesh Shrestha, in future, they are about to bring 5 models of smartphone and two models of a feature phone.
Chaudhary Group’s Director of Stewardship Nirvana Chaudhary has told that brought the mobile phones which Nepali consumers can easily afford. He believed to bring this mobile brand in top 3 number in the whole Nepali Mobile Market by next year.
Marketing Executive Shrestha has mentioned that Company has aimed to sell around 4 million feature and smartphone within a year. The belief of consumer upon CG brand and with support of strong team, getting CG brand into top 3 is not impossible as well, according to him.
In 2010, Chaudhary Group introduced CDMA mobile in the market. After the decreasing number of users of CDMA mobile, the company stopped producing that mobile phone. After five years, with sophisticated technology, they are again back in the market said, Director Chaudhary.

CG EON Lite is the sophisticated smartphone of CG. It costs 23 thousand and five hundred rupees.
