The third edition of ‘Netgear ICT Award 2018’ organized by Living with ICT concluded. The event that was hosted under the slogan “Probability and excellence in information technology” took place in the capital and distributed award on seven different categories for nine winners. All the winners were appreciated by Gokul Baskota Minister of Communication Information and Technology and other special guests.

During the event, Minister Baskota informed the government is working on necessary infrastructure and policies for the development of ICT.  ICT award is the best evidence to prove that the country is doing well in the ICT world added Baskota.

Secretary of Information and Technology Mahendraman Gurung, Secretary of Prime minister and council of ministers Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, Secretary of Education Science and Technology Krishna Raj BC, Former Minister Ganesh Shah, Inspector General of Police Sarvendra Khanal and Vice President of National Youth Council Madhav Dhungel showed their presence in the event.

ICT Award aspires to search the people or team who are doing excellent work in the field of ICT, said Rajan Lamsal, Head of ICT Award Committee. This is also one of the best platforms to encourage startup companies, added Lamsal.
