Mausumi Shrestha Crowned Best Woman Entrepreneur
Mausumi Shrestha of Shree Kishan Innovation Hub was honored as ‘The Best Woman Entrepreneur’ for her pivotal role in establishing Shreenagar Agro Group. Her efforts in leveraging modern technology to assist farmers in crop production have set a benchmark in agricultural innovation.
Lifetime Achievement Award: Shyam Badan Shrestha
The Lifetime Achievement Award in Women Entrepreneurship was presented to Shyam Badan Shrestha of Nepal Knotcraft Centre Pvt Ltd. Her longstanding dedication and significant contributions to the field of entrepreneurship were rightfully acknowledged.

In the ‘Emerging Enterprising Woman of the Year’ category, winners from each of the seven provinces were awarded Rs 51,000 each:
Koshi Province: Maya Gurung of the sandalwood industry in Taplejung.
Madhesh Province: Sunaina Thakur of Sunaina Artski in Dhanusha.
Bagmati Province: Sapna Sapkota of Bella Kasa.
Gandaki Province: Geeta Nath of Karnali Garment Industry in Kaski.
Lumbini Province: Geeta Kumari Koiri Maurya of Banke Poultry Farm in Banke.
Karnali Province: Bhumisara Tomta of Shramjivi Masala Udyog in Surkhet.
Sudurpaschim Province: Savitri Ojha of Green Mountain Agricultural Development Firm in Dadeldhura.
Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs Since 2021
Since its inception in 2021, New Business Age has been organizing this annual event to encourage and recognize the contributions of women entrepreneurs. The selection of winners across various categories was conducted by an independent jury.
The awards ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Nepal Rastra Bank’s Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and Supreme Court Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, who were the chief guests for the first and second halves of the event, respectively.
