NIC Asia Bank has announced a reduction in its interest rates effective August 17. The new rates reflect a decrease in both term deposit and savings account interest rates, offering better terms for customers.

NIC Asia Bank Lowers Interest Rates

For term deposits, the bank has revised its interest rates to up to 6.41 percent for institutional accounts and 7.41 percent for individual accounts. This marks a reduction from the previous rates set in July, which were 6.53 percent for institutions and 7.53 percent for individuals.

Additionally, the bank has adjusted the interest rates for ordinary savings accounts, which now range from a minimum of 3.41 percent to a maximum of 5.41 percent as of August.

NIC Asia Bank’s base rate is currently set at 9.24 percent. The adjustments in interest rates are aimed at providing more attractive options for depositors and maintaining competitive offerings in the financial market.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of these updated rates for their savings and term deposit accounts. The revised rates are part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to optimize financial services and enhance customer benefits.
