NIC Asia Capital Announces 50 Percent Cash Dividend and Calls AGM

NIC Asia Capital Limited has proposed a 50 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profits earned during the preceding fiscal year 2082/83.
NIC Asia Capital Dividend Announced
The board decision was finalized during a formal meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 11, 2026, corresponding to Shrawan 26, 2083.
The proposed cash dividend payout includes applicable tax deductions and will be calculated on the total existing paid up capital of the company.
The dividend proposal will be submitted for final endorsement and formal approval during the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Annual General Meeting Details and Agenda
To ratify the dividend distribution and review annual operations, NIC Asia Capital has formally convened its 10th Annual General Meeting.
The annual meeting is scheduled to take place on September 11, 2026, corresponding to Bhadra 26, 2083.
The assembly will convene at the registered corporate office of NIC Asia Capital in Thapathali, Kathmandu, starting at 9 AM.
Primary agenda items scheduled for review and voting during the Annual General Meeting include:
- Discussion and formal approval of the annual report presented by the Board of Directors for fiscal year 2082/83
- Evaluation and approval of the financial statements, balance sheets, and auditor reports
- Endorsement of the proposed 50 percent cash dividend distribution from annual profits
- Consideration of administrative resolutions and organizational proposals presented by the leadership team
Board Decision and Official Issuance
The decision to convene the Annual General Meeting and submit the dividend proposal was made during the 174th official meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 11, 2026
Chief Operating Officer Rajendra Rajbhandari issued the official press statement announcing the board resolutions on behalf of NIC Asia Capital Limited.

By the close of fiscal year 2082/83, the merchant banker successfully transitioned a significant majority of its core capital market services to digital platforms.
