The Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), an esteemed association fostering commercial relations between Nepal and Italy, proudly announces the celebration of NICCI Day 2023, a Bilateral Business Meet, held on June 5th.
The event also marks the unveiling of the 1st edition of the NICCI Newsletter. This significant occasion demonstrates NICCI’s commitment to enhancing tourism, promoting trade, and strengthening commercial ties between Nepal and Italy.
The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Italian Ambassador to Nepal, Mr. Vincenzo De Luca, emphasizing the strong bonds between Italy and Nepal and the importance of collaboration to establish enduring partnerships.
Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, President of NICCI, reflected on the remarkable journey undertaken by the Chamber since its establishment. NICCI Day 2023 served as a moment of celebration and introspection, where participants acknowledged past achievements and looked towards the future.
The event emphasized the significance of reinforcing bilateral trade commitments, promoting innovation, and fostering robust partnerships that will drive sustainable growth and prosperity.
During the meeting, the Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to Italy, Mrs. Pratima Rana Pandey, delivered a warm welcome speech, congratulating Mr. Sanjay Agrawal and extending good wishes for the inaugural edition of the NICCI Newsletter.
Additionally, Mr. Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, the Patron, highlighted successfully completed programs from the past and outlined future plans.
His Excellency, Mr. Vincenzo De Luca, the Ambassador of Italy, discussed future plans for Nepal and Italy, emphasizing the need for orderly promotion of tourism, import-export activities, and industries, as well as the market for Nepali coffee and handicrafts in Italy.
He also emphasized the promotion of business and industry by showcasing the contributions of the Nepali immigrant community in Italy. On a momentous occasion, he unveiled the first edition of the NICCI Magazine.
