NLG Insurance will begin auctioning around 320,533 shares today, 2 February, through a public sale process. These shares were originally part of the company’s rights offering but remained unsubscribed. The shares are now open for purchase by any interested individual or institution.

The auction includes shares from both the founder group and the general public. Of the total, 29,977.31 shares are allocated to the founder group, while 290,555.91 shares are available to the general public. Investors can apply for a minimum of 1,000 shares if they belong to the founder group, and 100 shares if they belong to the general public. There is no upper limit on the number of shares an applicant can purchase.
Minimum Price Set at NPR 100 per Share
The minimum price for the shares is set at NPR 100. Bidders must offer this price or a higher amount when submitting their applications. The auction will remain open until 9 February. Interested buyers can submit their bids at various locations, including Sunrise Capital, the securities manager, and NLG Insurance’s branches in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dhangadhi.
Unsubscribed Rights Shares for Auction
These shares are part of NLG Insurance’s rights offering, which was issued in a 10:6.256 ratio. The company is now selling the remaining unsubscribed shares through this auction. The shares being auctioned total 320,533.22, consisting of 29,977.31 shares for the founder group and 290,555.91 for the general public.
