NMB Bank has introduced cashless payment through QR code in the Birtamod Agricultural Market area with the goal of promoting cashless transactions.
The Bank implemented the QR Code by organizing a program under the chairmanship of Kamal Prasad Poudel, Chairman of the Birtamod Agricultural Market Management Committee.
As per the policy of Nepal Rastra Bank to promote the QR payment business, NMB Bank has facilitated QR code service on the market. QR codes have been made available to all entrepreneurs on the agricultural market.
Chief Guest Rajendra Prasad Lingden, Chairman of Birtamod Municipality Woda No. 5, Distinguished Guest NMB Bank State 1 Chief Utsav Ghimire, members of the Market Management Committee, security agencies, and local agricultural businessmen were present on the occasion.
