Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a midrange phone featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, good battery life, and most importantly impressive 5G connectivity. It was launched on November 12, 2020. But it is yet to be launched in Nepal.

Design & Display
The Nokia 8 V 5G features a glass-over-aluminum design. The front sports a 6.81-inch hole-punch LCD with a bulky bottom bezel. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 386ppi pixel density. The display is protected by a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. The display is cool but a bit hard to see indirect light. The backside of this Nokia phone is a glossy gray that takes on different luminescent qualities from various angles. It features a circular camera setup located at the top center. Below the camera, you’ll find Verizon’s 5G and Nokia logos prominently placed. It is available in Meteor Gray color.
Talking about the physical dimension this phone measures 171.9 x 78.6 x 9 mm (6.77 x 3.09 x 0.35 in) and weighs 230 g (8.11 oz). At the bottom of the phone is USB-C charging port, headphone jack, and speaker grille.
Performance
Nokia 8 V 5G runs on Octacore Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G with support of Adreno 620 in graphics. It has Android 10 as it’s operating system. For storage, it has 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage. With a 765G chipset along with plenty of RAM this phone doesn’t lag and offers buttery-smooth gameplay.
Camera
The 8 V 5G sports a quad-camera in a circular setup on its rear and a single front-facing camera. On the back, there is a 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP depth and macro sensors. You can shoot videos of 4K at 30/60fps, 1080p at 30/240fps, and 720p at 960fps. The front-facing camera is 24MP and shoot videos of 1080p at 30fps. The lenses of this phone use Zeiss optics.
Battery
It is powered with Li-Po 4500 mAh non-removable battery, which can supply power for 11hrs when streaming HD video over Wi-Fi at full brightness. It supports fast charging and an 18W charger is provided in the box.
Connectivity
The connectivity of the Nokia Phone is solid as it is Verizon’s product as well as supports 5G. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth V 5.0, GPS, NFC connections. It has a Fingerprint (side-mounted) for security purposes. Other sensors include gyro, accelerometer, proximity, compass.
