Nepal Network Operators’ Group (npNOG) is organizing its second event, “npNOG2”. npNOG is a community of network operators who work in ISPs, Content Providers, Telcos and other areas of the Internet and ICT industry in Nepal.
The event starts on June 15 and comprises of a three days Workshops in 3 different tracks and one day conference.
The date and venue of the event are:
Date: 15th to 17th June 2017
Workshops Venue: Hotel Yellow Pagoda, Kantipath, Kathmandu
Date: 18th June 2017
Conference Venue: Hotel Malla, Lainchaur, Kathmandu
The workshops will have the following three topics:
- IPV4/IPv6 Routing
- Network Management and Monitoring
- Optical Fiber Network
The participants who complete the three-day workshop get a Certificate of Participation from npNOG.
The objectives of the workshops are:
- To teach the OSPF and BGP skills required for the configuration and operation of large scale networks that make up the Internet.
- To train in managing diverse Network and NOC operations.
- To discuss Optical Fiber Network Design
The conference will be organized on June 18 from 9 AM to 6 PM. The registration for the conference will start at 8:30 AM. Currently, npNOG is looking for contributors to give a presentation on Internet Operational Technologies for the conference. Interested people can submit their paper at cfp@npnog.org.
