Internet Exchange Nepal (npIX) and Nepal Network Operators’ Group (npNOG) will be officially launching “npNOG” on December 9th, 2016, Friday at Hotel Himalaya amidst a conference gathering of distinguished ICT personalities, Network administrators and professionals of Nepal. The event will have several presentations on current status, challenges and success stories of the Internet and Network infrastructure.

The event will set a platform for learning, knowledge sharing and developing the community as per Mr. Rupesh Shrestha, Managing Director of UNIX. The game is supported by NTA, FCAN, ISPAN and ISOC Nepal.

npIX and npNOG are also organizing three days workshop from December 10th to 12th 2016 at Hotel Yellow Pagoda. The workshop will be conducted in two tracks

  1. SME Network design workshop and
  2. Optical fiber network design workshop.

These workshops will be conducted by experienced senior professionals and will be very helpful for final year Engineering students and aspiring ICT professionals to get practical knowledge and hands-on practice. Students will be provided a 50% discount to attend the workshop as per Mr. Samit Jana, President of npNOG and CTO of Worldlink Communications.
