The “CG Properties 9th Nepal Real Estate and Housing Exhibition-2035” is scheduled to be held from September 17 to 20 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
Centered around the core theme “Safe Housing, Every Citizen’s Right,” the event aims to promote sustainable urbanization through safe, systematic, and scientific settlement development.

The mega-event is jointly organized by the Nepal Land and Housing Development Association (NLHDA) and the Nepal Land and Housing Developers’ Federation (NLHDF), in collaboration with the Nepal Chamber of Commerce to mark its 75th Diamond Jubilee. The event management is handled by Sia Event Associates Pvt. Ltd.

Over 100 Stalls: Featuring participants from various parts of Nepal and neighboring India, with all available stalls fully booked.

Eco-Friendly & Paperless Initiative: Utilizing digital standees, electronic kiosks, and Virtual Reality (VR/AR) technologies to minimize paper usage.

Coordinator of the exhibition, Roshan Bhoyadhwo, emphasized that the event focuses on resilient infrastructure and structured urban growth. Meanwhile, senior figures from the business sector highlighted critical economic factors:
Policy Adjustments: Nepal Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President Deepak Malhotra stressed the need for policy reforms and reconsideration of taxes and fees affecting real estate transactions.

LTV Ratio Demand: Malhotra urged raising the Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio to 70% to revitalize the sluggish market, supported by easing banking liquidity and a declining interest rate trend.
Affordable Housing Options: According to NLHDA President Deepak Kunwar, the exhibition will present housing alternatives starting around NPR 14 million (1.4 Crore). Organizers expect over 65,000 visitors to attend.

Flood Relief Support: Following the August 26 floods in Rasuwa, the organizers dispatched food, clothing, medicines, and drone equipment, alongside a cash contribution of NPR 3.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Free Consultations & Health Camps: Visitors can access free expert consultations on earthquake-resistant construction and Vastu Shastra. Free health camps will be hosted in collaboration with Om Hospital and Grande International Hospital, including dedicated medical treatment packages for Rasuwa flood victims.
Seminars & Youth Empowerment: Panel discussions featuring policymakers, engineers, and architects will address climate change, disaster-resilient infrastructure, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). Additionally, selected young entrepreneurs will receive free training and business mentorship.
Running continuously since 2009, the exhibition serves as a crucial platform for investors, homebuyers, construction professionals, and media personnel to navigate financial decisions and secure investments amid improving economic indicators.
