Nepal Rastra Bank Publishes Final Selection and Appointment Notice for Assistant Director Posts

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Central Office, Human Resource Management Department, has published the final selection results and appointment recommendation notice for Assistant Director (Officer Level III, Administration Service) positions.

Based on aggregate marks obtained in the written examination conducted by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) and interviews conducted by the central bank, candidates have been selected for appointment according to merit rank under Advertisement Nos. 13/2082, 14/2082, and 15/2082.

Selection Results by Discipline and Category

The central bank has listed the primary recommended candidates along with merit rankings across open and inclusive categories.

• Assistant Director (Economics) [Ad. No. 13/2082]: Demand: 1 position. Main Candidate: Kamal Paudel (Roll No. 1870, Open Category). Waiting List Candidates: Rojina Rai (Roll No. 3673) and Ranjita Pokharel (Roll No. 3484).
• Assistant Director (Management) [Ad. No. 14/2082]: Demand: 1 position. Main Candidate: Suyesh Dev Raghubanshi (Roll No. 5143, Open Category). Note: Other interview participants were recommended under Ad. No. 15/2082 main candidate list.
• Assistant Director [Ad. No. 15/2082 – Open Category]: Open merit top candidates include Sampada Kharel (Rank 1), Sangit Kumar Mandal (Rank 2), Sangita Pudasaini (Rank 3), Santosh Panthi (Rank 4), and Samir Fuyal (Rank 5). Total 20 candidates selected under open merit.
• Assistant Director [Ad. No. 15/2082 – Inclusive Categories]: Recommended candidates include Sanjit Ghimire (Open), Sevika Maharjan (Women), Saraswati Wagle (Women), Sanjay Maharjan (Adivasi Janajati), Ajit Kumar Mandal (Madhesi), Gita Kumari Bhusal (Disabled), Usha K.C. (Backward Area), and Dipak Bishwokarma (Dalit), among others across 39 required posts.
• Waiting List Candidates [Ad. No. 15/2082]: Alternative candidates on the waiting list include Tirtha Prasad Dhungana (Open Rank 1), Santosh Paudel (Open Rank 2), Sachin Sapkota (Open Rank 3), and Sachita Nepal (Women Rank 5).

Reporting Deadlines and Appointment Instructions

Selected candidates must fulfill administrative and medical verification requirements before receiving formal appointment letters.

• Initial Reporting Deadline: Recommended candidates must report to the Human Resource Management Department at NRB Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu by Ashwin 29, 2083 BS.
• Appointment Date: Subject to favorable medical examination reports and background verification, official appointment letters will be issued on Ashwin 30, 2083 BS.
• Forfeiture Provision: Failure to report within the stipulated deadline will result in automatic cancellation of candidacy in accordance with Rule 68 of NRB Employee Service Bylaws, 2068 (including amendments).
