Baglung, Rolpa, and Rukum are the three districts that makeup Tilachan Dhuri. Following the expansion and upgrade of the Mid-Hill Highway, the axis is being promoted as a tourism attraction.

After the Mid-Hill Highway was pitched in Tilachan Dhuri, where only birds, wild animals, and herdsmen used to roam, domestic tourists interested in experiencing the scenery of the three districts began arriving.

As the pressure of tourists grows, Nepal Telecom Baglung has expanded its telecom service by setting up a BTS tower in Tilachan Dhuri to provide high-speed internet service in response to the demand of the consumers.

Tilachan Dhuri is known as ‘Patihalne’ because of its elevation of 3400 meters above sea level. Traffic congestion has increased as the Mid-Hills Highway has been expanded and upgraded.

Nepal Telecom has offered mobile service for the first time, according to Keshav Sharma, Chief and Senior Engineer of Telecom Baglung. The service is aimed at both internal and external tourists as well as locals. They stated the telecom started mobile service 2G and 4G simultaneously by building a permanent structure at Tilachan Dhuri (Patihalne) in Baglung’s Nisikhola Gaonpalika-6.

The telecom has built a 25-meter high BTS tower as part of its ambition to extend and upgrade its services in the area surrounding the highway, as well as rural and distant villages. – Gorkhapatra
