On World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2021, Nepal Telecom issued a press release requesting the launch of a trial mobile service and related facilities.
Nepal Telecom plans to modernize its networks in response to customer demand, including the introduction of 4G wireless technology, the fourth generation of wireless technology.
On World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (May 17), the VoLTE service will be trialed on prepaid and postpaid 4G mobiles beginning on the 3rd Jestha, 2078 BS.
With the launch of this service, you will experience a high-quality voice in 4G Mobile, easy dialing network availability, and increased service quality.
To ensure that this service is available when it is required, Nepal Telecom customers must enable VoLTE in their SIM cards by dialing *444# from their mobile phones and following the instructions that are displayed.
To allow this service on mobile, go to the mobile’s settings and enable the call for NTC SIM, after which the VoLTE symbol appears on the top wave of the mobile set.
When the VoLTE symbol appears, dial *111#. Nepal Telecom will offer 100 minutes of free voice service to users of this service, which can be used in Nepal Telecom’s network for 28 days for free once.
