The Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC), in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), is excited to announce the upcoming Techno Fair scheduled from August 8th to 10th, 2023.
The three-day event will take place at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel and aims to showcase cutting-edge research and technological innovations in the fields of Energy, Health, and Agriculture.
The Techno Fair comes as the culmination of the 8-year KOICA-funded project, which has received a substantial USD 10 million investment. With the project’s conclusion on October 31, 2023, the fair serves as a platform to exhibit the remarkable work of around 50 exhibitors and foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation.

Management of Technology Seminar (Day 1):
The seminar will delve into effective strategies, best practices, and emerging trends in managing technological innovations across different sectors. Professionals, researchers, and industry leaders will gain valuable insights to drive innovation in their respective fields.
Testing and Accreditation Equipment Tutorial (Day 1):
This demonstration will offer a firsthand understanding of the latest testing, quality assurance, and accreditation technologies and methodologies, showcasing their applications and benefits.
Start-ups Demo Session (Day 2):
Attendees will have the opportunity to witness innovative ideas, products, and services presented by start-ups, showcasing their potential to potential investors, partners, and customers.
Research and Business Development Poster Presentation (Day 2):
15 grantees will present their research and business development projects through an interactive poster presentation, offering valuable insights into their progress and findings.
Smart Health Platform Demonstration (Day 2):
A first-of-its-kind demonstration in Nepal, the smart health platform will showcase how technology can revolutionize healthcare services, enhancing quality and accessibility.
Idea Contest (Day 3):
Participants can engage in the idea contest, presenting their innovative ideas and competing for recognition. The contest aims to foster creativity and entrepreneurial thinking, and selected winners will receive prizes sponsored by Samsung Mobiles and a prize pool of NRs 50,000.
