OPPO Showcases New MagVOOC Series and in-Car Connectivity Technologies at Smart China Expo 2021

Treading on uncharted territories of IoT, the company promises a more diverse future of intelligent connectivity for its users.

The leading global smart device brand OPPO took part in the Smart China Expo 2021 themed “Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life”, which took place in Chongqing, China during August 23-26. OPPO showcased their new OPPO MagVOOC flash charging series, in-car connectivity, and more.

“OPPO is steadily accomplishing our strategic deployment in the field of IoT and broader areas concerning the Internet of Experience, aiming to empower customers in a variety of scenarios.” Said Henry Duan, Vice President and President of Smartphone Product at OPPO. “With the new magnetic flash charging and in-car connectivity technologies, we are doing our best to enhance customer experiences in every aspect.”

Unprecedentedly convenient air charging and MagVOOC flash charging

Besides demonstrating its wireless air charging technology at the expo, the OPPO company also revealed for the first time its magnetic flash charging technologies – the OPPO MagVOOC series.

This new series includes the MagVOOC wireless power bank, which uses a magnetic alignment system to ensure precise alignment between the phone and the charger. Secondly, the MagVOOC ultra-thin flash charger, which adopts a split design making the whole charger thinner. The design of both devices allows them to be easily portable. Lastly, the MagVOOC wireless flash charging stand, which helps users save up to 60% of preparation time as compared to conventional wired charging. The company is committed to optimizing its technologies and products to cover a more diverse user journey map.

Incredibly smart in-car phone connectivity capabilities

On another front, OPPO presented its latest achievements in in-car smartphone connectivity capabilities at the event, including the digital car key, remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3, remote vehicle control on OPPO Watch 2, as well as in-car flash charge.

The digital car key allows users to simply use OPPO smartphones to unlock their car via Bluetooth. No mobile network is needed, making it more convenient for daily use.

Remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3 or OPPO Watch 2 enables users to remotely turn on air conditioning through an APP. It can also assist car owners to search for their cars by sounding the horn from a distance.

Besides, users can also enjoy OPPO’s advanced in-car flash charge, which supports OPPO’s 65W VOOC USB flash charge and 40W VOOC wireless flash charge while driving.

OPPO has always been open to collaborations across industries to explore new possibilities and has formed partnerships with many leading vehicle brands, such as NIO, BYD Auto, and Geely.

Down the road, smartphones will become the control center of our vehicles. A growing number of advanced technologies will be incorporated into the smartphone-vehicle connectivity ecosystem. The in-car experience will become more integrated.

Seamlessly connected IoT devices and more

Since the company raised the concept of the Internet of Experience, OPPO’s achievements now include the development of AR Glass 2021 and other smart home devices which are all connected by UWB technology.

The OPPO AR Glass 2021 adopts a split design that makes the glasses lighter. Thus, wearing them for long periods has become more comfortable. Equipped with the mainstream Birdbath optical solution, OPPO AR Glass 2021 offers cinema-like experiences to customers.

Having entered these new territories in IoT, OPPO is now a step closer to realizing its vision of the Internet of Experience and creating a world with enhanced connections and integrations between people and devices.
