Role of Corporate Aid in National Relief Operations
Centralized mechanisms such as the Prime Ministers Disaster Relief Fund play a vital role in organizing emergency response operations, infrastructure repairs, and direct aid delivery following floods, landslides, and seismic events. Corporate contributions supplement budgetary allocations, allowing government ministries to deploy resources rapidly to affected districts.
The handover event at the Ministry of Finance confirms the continued involvement of international and non life insurance players in Nepal public welfare framework, reinforcing institutional partnerships between private financial sector entities and the government during crisis periods.
