Pathao, Nepal’s largest delivery network, has announced the commencement of the “Pathao Parcel Delivery Festival,” offering parcel delivery services across Nepal for just 1 Rupee. The festival, which runs from Bhadra 16 to Ashoj 14, aims to benefit businesses nationwide.

According to Surokshya Hamal, Pathao Nepal’s Marketing Director, the festival is designed to help small and large businesses within the Kathmandu Valley reach customers nationwide. Currently, Pathao offers parcel delivery services in over 300 locations across Nepal.

In Kathmandu, areas like Ason, New Road, Kalimati, Banasthali, Kuleshwor, and Chabahil are promoting the festival through “human billboards,” spreading the word about the event to businesses dealing in clothing, fashion, cosmetics, accessories, gadgets, and more.

Pathao ensures that parcels within the Kathmandu Valley are delivered within 24 hours, while deliveries to major cities outside the Valley are completed within 48 hours. Parcels to other locations are delivered within three days.

Having launched its parcel service in December 2023, Pathao has quickly grown, providing delivery services to over 1,000 businesses and handling more than 90,000 monthly deliveries.

Merchants interested in joining Pathao Parcel can download the Pathao Merchant app from the Play Store for Android users or the App Store for iOS users. The app is also available for download at pathao.parcel.com.

Merchants affiliated with Pathao Parcel are provided with a professional dashboard to track their payments and monitor the location of their parcels. Payment for deliveries is deposited into the merchant’s account within 48 hours, according to Hamal.

Hamal claims that Pathao Parcel is the largest delivery company in Nepal, with its extensive network covering nearly all major cities in the country.
