Prabhu Bank Flood Relief Rasuwa
Following severe river surges along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli corridors, the Prabhu Bank flood relief Rasuwa initiative has expanded to deliver direct, on-the-ground support for displaced families. On September 10, 2026 (Bhadra 25, 2083), the bank dispatched emergency shelter equipment to the District Administration Office (DAO), Nuwakot, for immediate distribution to flood-stricken households in Rasuwa.
Immediate Material Assistance Handed to DAO Nuwakot
Torrential floods destroyed residential structures and vital local infrastructure, leaving scores of families without shelter. To meet the acute need for temporary housing, Prabhu Bank delivered targeted relief supplies directly to administrative authorities.
During an official handover ceremony, Prabhu Bank’s Chief Marketing Manager, Mr. Dipendra Babu Bista, formally transferred the emergency supplies to Nuwakot district officials. The handover ensures systematic and equitable logistics reaching families in high-risk zones.
