Principal of Devdaha Buddha Public School Highlights Tech Empowerment for +2 Students

In a major effort to modernize high school education in Rupandehi, Krishna Prasad Gaire, Principal of Devdaha Buddha Public School, welcomed a landmark technological initiative aimed at equipping Grade 11 and Grade 12 students with essential skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity.
Organized by the Lumbini Tech Innovation Center (LTIC) under the chairmanship of Dhan Bahadur Rana, the program brought together educators, industry leaders, and students to build a solid foundation for Nepal’s next generation of tech leaders.

Speaking at the event, Krishna Prasad Gaire, Principal of Devdaha Buddha Public School, presented how the integration of AI and Cybersecurity training by LTIC will directly enhance the practical skill sets of local students. He emphasized that traditional classroom curricula must be supplemented with real-world tech exposure to prepare students for higher education and modern careers.
The event was also attended by Anantaram Bhandari, +2 Coordinator, reflecting the commitment of Devdaha Buddha Public School’s administration to fostering tech fluency among its students.

The interactive session provided +2 students with direct insights from industry experts into two defining fields of technology:
Artificial Intelligence Briefing: Krishna Sapkota, Director of LTIC, introduced the core concepts of AI, guiding students through the foundational skills required to thrive in an automated, data-driven world.

Cybersecurity & Zero Trust Architecture: Dhan Bahadur Rana, Chairman of LTIC, led the cybersecurity module, focusing on practical security controls and modern defense strategies.
