UNI Nepal Liaison Council is going to be organized the program on 23 Dec 2016 (Poush 8, 2073), Friday in Indreni Foodland, Maitri Hall 5th Floor at 9.00 am on the topics of “Promoting decent employment in IT sector in Nepal”.
Information Communication technology services (ICTS) is the fastest growing sector around the globe. In Nepal also, the ICTS sector is booming. The human resources excelling in the industry are hugely increasing; however, they have not been effectively retained in the job market. I realize the importance of the employment relation situation and the potentiality of the sector.
UNI Nepal Liaison Council realizing the importance of the employment relation situation and the potentiality of the sector is holding a social dialogue program among the stakeholders on “Promoting decent employment in IT sector in Nepal and role of stakeholders.”A government representative will attend the program; IT-related employers and employers association, workers organization, professional and experts of the sector.
The program mainly focuses on the various aspects of cooperation and the division of the responsibility from the different stakeholders together with the trade unions to spur the development of the IT sector in Nepal. There is one discussion session to extract the views of experts on the matter. The discussion is expected to deliver a recommendation as an output.
