Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Neo Remit and United Remit to facilitate remittance payments across Nepal.

Through this agreement, individuals from around the world can send remittances via Neo Remit and United Remit, which will be payable at any of RBBL’s 294 branch offices across all 77 districts of Nepal.

Expanding Remittance Access to Remote Areas

This partnership ensures that even customers residing in remote areas of Nepal can conveniently receive remittance services. Additionally, any amount sent via Neo Remit or United Remit can be directly deposited into the beneficiary’s account, providing a seamless and efficient remittance experience.

Partnership Details

The agreement was formalized with signatures from key representatives of each organization. On behalf of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, the agreement was signed by Rishi Ram Dhakal, Head of the Department, while CEO Sagar Khanal signed on behalf of Neo Remit, and Sudan Singh Silwal represented United Remit.

RBBL’s Extensive Network and Services

With its robust infrastructure, Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited operates 294 branch offices, 312 ATMs, 99 branchless banking services, and 73 extension counters across Nepal. Customers can also access modern banking services like QR code payment, Point of Sale (POS), credit and debit cards, Connect IPS, Smart QR Teller (enabling cash withdrawals without checks), internet banking, an advanced mobile banking app, and USSD mobile banking for areas with limited or no internet access.

This collaboration strengthens RBBL’s commitment to providing accessible, reliable, and fast remittance solutions, contributing to the financial inclusion of Nepalese people across all regions of the country.

By leveraging modern technologies and an extensive network, RBBL, in partnership with Neo Remit and United Remit, continues to improve remittance services, making financial transactions easier for Nepalese families reliant on remittances from abroad.
