Realme 8 is set to launch soon in Nepal. Realme is a Chinese smartphone manufacturing company. The company was founded on May 4, 2018, by Sky Li.

History of Realme

Realme first appeared in China in 2010 with the name OPPO Real. After that, it was a sub-brand of OPPO. Finally, in May 2018, the company released its first phone, Realme 1.

Realme adopted a new logo on 15 November 2018. As a result, on November 22, 2018, Realme became the No. 1 emerging brand in the Indian market.

Realme released its first photo taken with its 64MP camera on June 26, 2019. And Realme successfully entered 20 markets, including China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe, by July 2019.

By August 2019, Realme had surpassed 10 million users worldwide.

In 2021 the company has a large user base in Europe and Asia.

Realme 8 with Helio G95 and AMOLED display

Recently Realme 8 was launched in India on March 23rd, 2021. It will soon enter the Nepali market. It is the successor of the Realme 7 that was launched last year.

Realme 8 Overview

Design:

It has the same design as its Pro variant, has a polycarbonate build, and a two-split design. The left side of the rear has a matte finish, and the right side has a glossy finish.

Realme 8 gets a new design and a super AMOLED panel. In addition, it is a 60Hz display.

The rectangular quad camera on the back with big lenses attracts the users. However, there is also the lettering “DARE TO LEAP” on its back.

The colors that come in it are Cyber Silver and Cyber Black.

Display:

The display type used in Realme 8 is Super AMOLED, HDR 10. They are using the display panel from Samsung. The peak brightness may reach 1000 nits.

Camera:

The phone is using a 64MP sensor instead of 1080MP. In addition, it contains an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP Macro lens with 4cm Shooting Distance, B&W Lens f/2.4 Aperture. In addition, there is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies on the front.

Battery and Os:

Realme 8 has the same 5000mAh battery. It uses 30W Fast charging that provides 100% battery in just 65 mins. This means it has really incredible Charge speed. Fivefold Protection ensures safety during the charging process.

Sensors:

There is a Fingerprint(under display optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.

Memory and Hardware:

The internal memory is of 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM,128GB 8GB RAM. There is also a dedicated slot micro SDXC.

Realme 8 is sticking with the same MediaTek Helio G95 chipset used on its predecessor.

Realme 8 launch price in India was INR 14,999(about NPR 23858). So, Realme 8 price in Nepal is to be around Rs.28 000 in Nepal. It is about to launch as soon as next week.
