With the theme “Convenience Redefined with Rewards” the #DigitalDecember2024 initiative aims to promote digital banking adoption, enhance financial literacy, and provide exclusive customer benefits throughout December.

• Simplified Tax Reporting: Customers updating their PAN or NID details through Mobile Money and making NPR 100 Mobile Top-up will receive an additional NPR 100 Top-up; while facilitating seamless tax-filing on the interests earned on their deposits.
• Easy Electricity Bill Payments: Mobile Money users can now pay electricity bills with a simple missed call – and users adopting this unique service within December can earn an additional NPR 100 Top-up.
• Credit Card Opportunities: Eligible customers can apply for a free Credit Card along with 5 years of waived annual charges.
Flexible Financial Solutions
• Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL): Credit Card customers can split payments into easy installments at 0% interest rate and for purchases over NPR 30,000, with processing fees waived during December.
• Cross-Border Payment Innovations: Merchants partnering with Fonepay can accept Indian mobile wallet payments and participate in an exciting prize draw.
Financial Education Initiative
A key component of the campaign is the “Digital Dialogue” – a nationwide series of interactive sessions across Nepal’s provinces. These workshops will focus on Financial Literacy, Digital banking security and latest digital banking tools.
By combining various promotional offers with awareness & educational initiatives, this campaign aims to make digital banking more accessible, convenient and secure for all.
