Samsung Mobile is a line of smartphones and other mobile devices manufactured by Samsung Electronics, a South Korean multinational conglomerate.

The company produces a wide range of mobile devices, from high-end flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy series to budget-friendly models such as the Samsung Galaxy A and M series.

Samsung mobile devices are known for their innovative design, powerful hardware, and advanced software features.

Many Samsung smartphones feature large, high-resolution displays, powerful processors, and high-quality cameras. They also run on Samsung’s own operating system, Android, which is known for its user-friendly interface and extensive app ecosystem.

Samsung has also developed a range of additional accessories for their mobile devices, such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, and wireless earbuds, which integrate seamlessly with their smartphones.

Overall, Samsung mobile devices are popular among consumers around the world due to their high-quality hardware and software, a wide range of features, and sleek and modern design.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 with a 50MP OIS camera has been launched in Nepal.

Design

This year, Samsung intends to make the designs of its affordable phones resemble those of its top S series phones. The Galaxy A24 is no exception.

It has the same vertical array camera ring design as the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, as well as other A series phones including the Galaxy A14, Galaxy A34, and Galaxy A54.

The phone has a shiny back and a slightly curved plastic frame. The front has an Infinity-U design notch, which appears inferior to the more current punch-hole cutting.

The power and volume controls are located on the right side of the gadget. The power button also functions as a fingerprint scanner.

The bottom also contains a 3.5mm headphone connection, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker. A secondary microphone is located on the top, and a SIM card slot is located on the left side.

Display

The Galaxy A24’s Full HD Super AMOLED display measures 6.5 inches diagonally. It has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

As previously stated, the display has a water drop notch to house the selfie camera. Furthermore, the display’s bottom bezel is slightly larger than the rest.

Hardware

The MediaTek Helio G99 chipset powers the phone. In 2023, the chipset is expected to be a popular choice among low-cost phones. It is an octa-core processor with a Mali-G57 GPU built on a 6nm fabrication technology.

The CPU configuration includes two Arm Cortex-A76 cores running at up to 2.2GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A24 features a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). A 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera supplement the main camera.

The phone has a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies, which is an increase from the Galaxy A23’s 8MP camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

Battery and operating system

The Galaxy A24 comes with a 5000mAh battery. It also supports 25W fast charging, but the compatible charger is not included with the phone and must be purchased separately. The approved charger charges the phone from 0% to 100% in about two hours.

In terms of software, the phone runs Android 13 on top of Samsung’s One UI 5.1.

Price and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy A24 in Nepal

The Samsung Galaxy A24 costs Rs. 28,999 (6/128GB) and Rs. 31,999 (8/128GB) in Nepal. The phone is on sale at Samsung showrooms and retail locations around the country.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is a low-cost phone from Samsung that looks similar to the other handsets in the Galaxy A-series portfolio for 2023. It has an FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Helio G99 CPU, and a 50MP triple camera with OIS. The device includes a 5000mAh battery and enables 25W rapid charging
