Samsung announced and released Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone on September 2014 that comes up with an Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat) up-gradable to v5.1.1 (Lollipop). This phone supports GSM /HPSA/ LTE network configurations. This phone has a dimension of 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm (6.04 x 3.09 x 0.33 in) having thickness 8.5 mm and weighs about 176 grams.
It uses Micro-SIM S Pen stylus technology.  The screen size is 5.7 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 74.2%. The display is of 16 M colors and has Super AMOLED capacities touchscreen. The screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels which are precisely 515 PPI pixel density.
The GPU used is Adreno 420 (Snapdragon 805) and Mali-T760 MP6 (Exynos 5433). It supports multi-touch and has got Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, and Exynos 5433 and CPU comprises of Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 (Snapdragon 805) / Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 (Exynos 5433) processors. The internal memory available is 32 GB, and it contains 3 GB RAM. It also includes a micro SD card expanded up to 128 GB (dedicated slot).
The primary camera comprises of a 16 MP, f/2.2, 31 mm, OIS, autofocus, LED flash camera while secondary comprises of 3.7 MP, f/2.2, 31 mm, 1440p@30 fps and 1080 p (HDR) camera. The video feature includes 2160@30 fps, 1080 p@60 fps, and dual video recording. The primary camera features include 1/2.6″ sensor size, touch focus, 1.12 µm pixel size, face/smile detection, Geo-tagging, HDR and panorama mode. The microphone jack is 3.55 mm and has got stereo loudspeakers.
The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot. The Bluetooth version is 4.1, A2DP, EDR, LE. It also comes with NFC connection and an IR port but does not contain an FM radio. The USB available is v2.0 micro USB (MHL 3 TV-out) with USB Host. It also comes with an accelerator, Fingerprint, gyro, UV, accelerator, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2 and proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via MMS, SMS threaded view, IM, Email and Push mail.
The GPS technology is A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS. The browser is HTML 5. The phone comes with Quick Charge v2.0 technology that charges 60% in just 30 mins. The phone also comes with S-Voice natural language commands and dictation and ANT+ support as well as Air gestures. It also comes with 50 GB cloud Dropbox storage. The battery used is Non-removable Li-Po 3200 mAH battery that gives up to 20 h (3G)standby talk time and music play up to 82 h battery life while the endurance rating is 90h.
The colors available are Frosted white, Charcoal Black, Bronze Gold, and Blossom Pink. The main disadvantages are Rear-mounted mono speaker; the micro USB 2.0 is a downgrade over micro USB 3.0 on the Note 3. The uneven gap between the metal frame and curved screen glass takes a few points away from an otherwise excellent build. Also, there is no enhanced resistance to liquids or dust and the Wireless charging support only with an optional back cover.
