Samsung Nepal Extends Support to Flood-Affected Communities with Special Repair Service Initiative
12th October 2026, Kathmandu
Samsung Nepal has announced a dedicated Special Repair Service Initiative to support communities affected by the recent severe flooding across parts of Nepal. As families and communities begin the process of recovery, the initiative aims to help restore essential mobile devices and household appliances while reducing the financial burden associated with repair and replacement.
Samsung Nepal Launches Flood Relief
As part of the initiative, Samsung Nepal is organizing dedicated Special Repair Service Centers at the Narayanghat Service Center and Tamrakar Pako, providing repair support for a wide range of Samsung products.
For Consumer Electronics (CE) products, on-site visit services are available. The initiative covers Mobile eXperience (MX) devices—including smartphones and tablets—as well as Consumer Electronics (CE) products such as refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and other eligible home appliances.
The service camps are intended for flood-affected areas and surrounding regions across 15 municipalities declared disaster-affected by the Government of Nepal, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, Gorkha, and Tanahun.
Consumer Electronics (CE) Products
For eligible Samsung Consumer Electronics products, the applicable benefits are:
| Product Age / Warranty | Repair Discount | Replacement Support |
| In Warranty (IW) | 100% | 100% |
| 1 – 2 Years Old | 80% | 80% |
| 2 – 5 Years + | Up to 70% | Up to 70% |
Mobile Products
For eligible Samsung Devices, including smartphones and tablets, the applicable benefits are:
| Product Age / Warranty | Repair Discount | Replacement Support |

| 1 – 2 Years Old | 80% | 80% |
| 2 – 5 Years + | Up to 70% | Up to 70% |
If the combined cost of replacement parts, labour, and freight exceeds 80% of the product’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP), the product may be considered for replacement instead of repair.
Accessible Service Hubs in Narayanghat Service Center and Pako Tamrakar
The Special Repair Service Initiative has started from October 2, 2026, to November 2, 2026, with dedicated service camps operating in Narayanghat Service Center and Pako Tamrakar.
By establishing these locations as service hubs, Samsung aims to make support more accessible to customers from flood-affected districts and neighboring areas. Customers with eligible Samsung smartphones and tablets can bring their devices directly to the designated service camps for verification and repair assistance.
