Peoples Energy Limited is going to develop Khimti-II hydropower project of capacity 48.8 MW in the Rasnalu VDC of Ramechhap district and Hawa and Thulopatal VDC of Dolakha district.
Loan Facility Agreement was signed between the Developer Company and consortium of banks in the lead of SANIMA Bank. Sanima, Siddhartha, Nabil, Janata, NIC Asia, NMB, Bank of Kathmandu, Civil, Global and NCC banks will lend seventy-five percent of total project cost. It will take four years to construct the project. The project will generate 261 million units of energy annually.
