Sanima Mai Hydropower Company has proposed a dividend for its shareholders following a meeting of the Board of Directors on Monday. The proposal suggests distributing a portion of last year’s profits to the company’s investors.

Details of the Proposed Dividend

The company plans to offer a 10% bonus share and a 0.52% cash dividend to shareholders. This proposal is based on the company’s earnings from the previous fiscal year.

Once the dividend is approved at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), shareholders will receive the benefits.

AGM Scheduled for January 28, 2025

The company has scheduled its AGM for January 28, 2025, when the shareholders will vote on the proposed dividend. Along with this, the company will discuss other essential matters related to its operations and financial performance.

The final decision on the dividend will rest with the approval of the AGM.

Book Closure for Dividend Eligibility

To determine eligibility for the dividend, Sanima Mai Hydropower will close its books on December 24, 2024. Shareholders whose names are on the register by this date will qualify for the proposed dividend.

Only those holding shares by December 25, 2024, will receive the dividend if the proposal gets approval.
