Shanker Group donates NPR 40 million to the PM Relief Fund and provides 2,500 tents worth NPR 2.5M to support Nepal’s disaster relief and rehabilitation.

The Shanker Group family expresses its deepest condolences to all those who lost their lives in this devastating disaster. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and pray to God to grant them the strength and patience to endure this difficult time. We also pray for the safe return of everyone who remains missing.
At this critical hour, the Shanker Group family extends its sincere gratitude and respect to the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, volunteers, and government officials who have been working tirelessly and with utmost dedication in rescue and relief operations.
To support relief and rehabilitation efforts for disaster-affected citizens, Mrs. Deepa Agrawal, Director of Shanker Group, along with the senior management team, today handed over a cheque of NPR 40 million to the Hon. Finance Minister for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
In addition, on the third day of the disaster, Shanker Group, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs, had already provided 2,500 tarpaulin tents worth NPR 2.5 million through the Chief District Officer of Bhairahawa to provide temporary shelter for displaced citizens.
Shanker Group has always believed that standing shoulder to shoulder with the government and citizens during times of national crisis is our responsibility. We reaffirm our commitment to continuing to fulfill this responsibility in the days ahead.
